In 2007, a black and GID prototype was listed on Ebay. The seller, snakeyip, was from Hong Kong and had been known to sell legitimate Dunny prototypes in the past, likely bought from one of the factories Kidrobot used in China. Some collectors were skeptical of the authenticity, since the seller's avatar on Ebay showed this second prototype, which looks more like the production figure with GID paint added by hand. However, the authenticity of these prototypes were later confirmed on Filth's website.
