Name: Black M.O.D. Dunny
Artist: Gary Baseman
Manufacturer: Kidrobot
Features: Posable arms and swiveling head. This figure is based on a 20" custom Baseman created for The Dunny Show at Visionaire Gallery (New York) in 2004. The acronym M.O.D. stands for "Manifestation of Desire", which is the desire bubbles that are a recurring theme in his work. This theme is featured in a 2003 Baseman painting of the same name. There is also a red version of this figure, as well as multiple 3" versions.

Note: Some of these figures arrived with caved-in heads, including some of the stock sold at SDCC 2005. Kidrobot staff were reportedly able to use a hair dryer to heat and massage the heads close to their proper shape (but not perfectly) without causing damage. Some people believe there are fewer than 600 in existence because of the problem, though it's likely that the hair dryer fix allowed Kidrobot to sell all their stock.
